On our newer pads, we added a zipper to the backrest to allow for removal and installation of the backrest. This helps us keep our shipping costs down, so we can pass our savings to our customer. The installation of the SwitchBack pad is very similar to other pads, but can be a little confusing because the buckles are hidden under the seat. This guide will show you how to install the SwitchBack pad on your truck! To start, undo the straps on the front of the pad. Lay the pad on the tailgate, so the front flap hangs off of the tailgate. We have been working hard over the last year, and it has paid off! After creating several prototypes, executing several refinements to the design, and learning to sew with an awl, we have arrived at our best prototype yet! It has great functionality, we've determined the materials to use for optimal longevity, and it looks awesome.
